A Pentecostal Full Gospel Church, believing in the second coming of our Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ. We are not religious, but we have a relationship with our Saviour. Love is the key aspect of our faith. Loving God the Father with all your heart, soul, strength and mind and loving one another as God has loved us. The Bible teaches us that the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life. God demonstrates His own love towards us that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Believe in Jesus and you will be saved. We pray that the Holy Spirit will ignite spiritual revival within the church and spread to all corners of New Zealand. Our Pastor

Pr. Mathews George

Pastor Mathews George is an Exhorter Minister of the Church of God (Full Gospel) in India.

Born in India in 1967, he received salvation and baptism in Dubai on 14th April 2000. Served the youth & children ministry in the Church of God, Sharjah till 2014. Came to New Zealand with a divine calling and purpose in August 2014. Assisted the Pastor of EPC church in Auckland by leading the English worship till January 2020.

As the vision and calling were to start a pioneer work among the unreached in Auckland, Pastor Mathews took the step of faith and as we read in Acts 13:3, received blessings from Rev C.C. Thomas - Overseer of the Church of God in India, the Pastors of COG Sharjah and the Pastor of EPC Auckland. Empowered and led by the Holy Spirit, a House Church was formed in Blockhouse Bay, Auckland, in January 2020. God confirmed the calling by giving souls and baptisms. Registered the church in December 2021 to Auckland Pentecostal Church and moved to the new church hall in Epsom in March 2023.

Pastor Mathews has a mission to oversee the church ministry, teach, equip, and provide care for the believers. Carry out evangelical outreach ministry and charitable activities that may occur locally or abroad. Along with the present Malayalam worship, God willing, they are praying to start an English worship for the local community.

Pastor Mathews is blessed with a wife, Asha Mathews, and three girls Sandra, Sharon, and Sera. Sister Asha is a registered nurse at Middlemore Hospital. Sandra and Sharon are working while Sera is in 2nd year at University. The family supports and stands together to serve the Almighty God.
